Weekends

The last two weekends have been insane.

Two weekends ago Mel and I went down to NYC. A quick stop in CT on Friday night to see the folks, and then onto to NY.

We shopped and watched hours of basketball. What more could you ask for? Sometimes I wish everyday was March.

So out and about with Tom Cooper and one of his friends. After our forty minute cab ride with Tommy Woo - which we managed to stiff him 10 dollars - we made our way to Acme to meet up with the New York Men's team. Oh, that may not have been a good idea. Of course by then we were sober, and just HAD to make up for it. Shots of Jager and Tequilla followed. Followed by Knox trying to make out with me. And then later on me telling TC that "I WILL NOT MAKE OUT WITH YOU!"

Thank fully we are still friends - he texted me about groping me just last night. Lucky me.

Onto this weekend. All the Philly friends came up sans PBF. Thank god.

Friday night - JH felt my leg up

Saturday dancing with the boys. Of course all I heard about was how PBF is not the person I thought he was at all. AWESOME

Sunday

Arrgghhh

I just wrote an entire post and then navigated away from it by accident.

Long story short....Dorchester is full of short unnattractive Irish men. Some of them seem to use suppositories (sp?). Eww

Friday

Its seven fifteen and I just got home! Last night I didn't get home until 11:00!

At least it is Friday. But Fridays have been tough recently. I used to call FBF every Friday when we didn't see each other. I miss having someone to call that always wanted to talk to me. I miss the companionship. Tonight no one called me, I have book club and then John's birthday. Its not looking very hopefull.

Tomorrow night we are shooting fish in a barrel though. Off to Dorchester. Picking up ugly guys that think you are the best thing since sliced bread.

Toodles.

Bad Boyfriends

More bad boyfriend stories -

Who ever said that Boston was a great place to meet men did not live here.

I've been here for four and a half years. In that time I've had three relationships previous to phillyboyfriend. Two of them were with Irish men (last year I swore them off for lent) and one was a college friend. So I haven't even dated a guy from Boston.

That, and none of them were for terribly extended periods of time. Irishboyfriend #1- all said, about four weeks, Collegeboyfriend - about four weeks, Irishboyfriend #2 about two months.

Lets add up the time, 4+4+8 = 16 weeks

Five years = 52*4.5 = 234 - six months of Philly = 210 weeks. 210 vs. 16!

This place sucks

Tonight we are watching Deal or No Deal. Its either that or Lost. I'd much rather watch people not win money than starve on a deserted sci fi island.

We ordered pizza for dinner! Yeah Pizza. (I can't eat any more fish if you paid me)

Today was a hard day - I wanted to call Phillyboyfriend so badly - but I didn't. I didn't even call PBF's friend and tell her that I missed him. I just want somebody to tell me that he misses me. I'm not holding my breath.

Oh - and PBF's friend almost broke up with her BF - they took a break. I secretly wanted them to end it. Would have made me feel better - I suck

Zoey!

Phillyboyfriend

My boyfriend broke up with me. It will be three weeks on Thursday morning, lets say about 2 am.

Who breaks up at 2 am in NYC when you are there on business?

Over Over Over Over

I keep hearing Bjork's lyrics - my heart was so broken - its like a broken record in my head that I can't stop. I keep wondering if he is thinking of me. I think about him all the time - sometimes when I wish I wouldn't.

Its hard to avoid:

Google
Philadelphia
Football
Nascar
Maryland

Since its winter I'm watching tons of crappy TV. Last night watched the bachelor till eleven. Currently watching Extra! They are rehashing everything we watched on Inside Edition. Hasn't anyone but me noticed that these are the same program, just different hosts? And how did they get that guy from that band to be a host?

Started listening to a new CD, a few actually - but my favs are the Go!Team and Nouvelle Vague.

Good Good Good

Tonight we are eating cauliflower with cheese sauce (grainy) and mahi mahi in teryaki. MMmmmm

Hope its good.
